On December 6th, 2006
AOR
hosted a very successful forum on the the subject of Modernizing
Oregon's Bottle Bill. Nearly 100 concerned individuals attended
the event held this year at the Willamette Valley Vineyards
outside Salem, Oregon. Oregon, once a leader in Bottle Bill
legislation has become a "laggard" in this respect. The forum
explored the options available to the state by examining other
regional solutions to the problem and listening to the various
stakeholders positions on the issue.
